The trick is to keep the colour to a minimum so that it just peeks through the lashes, while the rest of your face (and hair, we should add) stays clean and flawless with lighter pinks or neutrals. If you’re prone to redness on your face, skip the pink and go for another pastel hue on the eyes.

PINK is definitely a favourite in the lip colour arena, and there are many different tones, intensities and finishes. Some are matte, some are shimmery, some are really bright and some just give a slight hint of colour. They’re all pink, though. And pink doesn’t necessarily need to scream at the tops of its lungs to be awesome (although it certainly can). It looks pretty without much effort and everyone has their favourite shade. If you decide to wear it on your eyes, pair it with a much lighter pink on the lips to tone it down.

It can instantly brighten your complexion, and sometimes the only thing you need before rushing out the door in the mornings is a bit of mascara and a pink blush. The best pink blush is subtle and sophisticated, but pay attention to your complexion: someone with a darker skin tone will need a brighter colour pink. Warmer tones of pink are better for cheeks in general.
