Jam of the Day: Bebe Rexha – I Got You

In 2016, Bebe Rexha worked hard on her brand. She released the hit single ‘No Broken Hearts’ featuring Nicki Minaj, joined forces with the number one DJ in the world according to DJ Mag, Martin Garrix, on ‘In The Name Of Love’ and presented this year’s MTV European Music Awards. The star also recently released her new single ‘I Got You’ and has just dropped an epic music video for the song.

This is a song that has been on our summer playlist for weeks and we’re glad to see that the song is finally picking up on radio across the world. The song serves as the second official single off her debut album ‘All Your Fault’ which is due for release early this year. The song is a beautifully produced piece of pop music. Bebe has a unique tone which makes the music she releases rather interesting and makes people sit up and listen. Lyrically, the song is simple but with a catchy melody and banging production, the song shines. There seems to be a gap in the market for someone edgy like Bebe and she has done a great job filling the spot.

The singer has been putting in the money and effort to get her career off the ground and the music video to the new single proves just that. Looking as beautiful as ever, Bebe has released a beautiful desert-themed video filled with beautiful outfits, breath-taking landscape shots and a whole lot of sexiness. Besides being a talented singer, Bebe first made a name for herself through her song-writing. The singer is behind hits such as Eminem’s ‘The Monster’, Tinashe’s ‘All Hands On Deck’, Iggy Azalea’s ‘Team’ and many more. Bebe is proof that slow and steady wins the race as she plans on making a huge impact on the music scene in 2017 – and we’re so ready!
