Knowing that he will be blamed, her jumping partner pleads with Private Investigator, Jade de Jong, to find the real killer. In this, her fourth adventure, Jade is recovering from her bust-up with police Superintendent David Patel, and not keen to take on the case. However, after a cursory overview, the tough investigator softens as she realises that the victim was the defender of an impoverished community that has now disappeared. Rating: 4 Stars
