Robert Pattinson has reportedly started an “investigation” to discover how Kristen Stewart keeps getting his phone number.

The Twilight stars are understood to have split after Kristen admitted having an affair with married film director Rupert Sanders.

There have been reports the pair have been talking on the phone, but it’s now been claimed they were untrue. Robert is said to have changed his number four times and is becoming increasingly angry that Kristen is still managing to get his number.

“Rob’s actually launched an investigation of his close friends, business associates – even his family – to find out who is leaking his numbers to Kristen,” an insider told National Enquirer. “It’s only 20 close confidents and one of them is betraying him.”

The actor is apparently prepared to take drastic steps to ensure his ex-girlfriend can no longer contact him.

“He’s steaming mad and swears that when he finds the culprit, he’ll cut that person out of his life,” the source said.

Kristen made her first public appearance since the scandal broke last week, promoting her movie On the Road at the Toronto Film Festival.

She spoke about the upcoming press for the final Twilight movie Breaking Dawn – Part 2. There has been speculation she and Robert might have trouble working together, but she isn’t nervous.

“We're going to be fine,” she was quoted as saying. “We're totally fine.” © Cover Media
