Robert Pattinson reportedly didn’t reveal anything at his first interview since his love Kristen Stewart confessed to adultery.

The actor just taped his appearance at Jon Stewart’s TV programme The Daily Show.

Sources at the studio told TMZ that the actor chose the respectful route and did not speak on the controversy.

According to the website, when Jon asked the Twilight star, “How are you doing?” Robert’s reply was cautious and reserved.

“I intend not to say anything,” the source overheard Robert say.

Jon didn’t push the subject with Robert.

“I wish you the best, these things happen when you're young,” Jon said.

Robert has been left devastated after it was revealed weeks ago that his girlfriend Kristen cheated on him with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

Recently it has been reported that Robert had cut all ties with Kristen. He is said to be refusing to talk to her after deciding there is no future in their relationship.

There are numerous reports that Robert is staying at Water for the Elephants co-star and friend Reese Witherspoon’s house in Ojai, California to lie low for a while. © Cover Media
