Lindsay Lohan is firing back at a paparazzo who is suing her after a car she was a passenger in ran over his foot two years ago.

The Mean Girls star was hit with a lawsuit from photographer Grigor Balyan in January.

The legal papers allege that while Balyan was shooting Lindsay outside a Hollywood nightclub in a car being driven by her assistant, the vehicle plowed into him on the actress’s direction.

He claims to have suffered orthopedic and neurologic injuries.

But TMZ claims that the Liz & Dick star believes it was the paparazzo’s own fault for stepping in front of the car and she should not have to pay him any money.

Lindsay has submitted her response to the claim which has been filed in Los Angeles Superior Court this week claiming Balyan “carelessly put himself near a moving automobile” and caused his own injuries.

A judge has yet to make a ruling on the issue. © Cover Media
