Cuba Gooding Jr. has moved swiftly to “resolve the misunderstanding” that led to an arrest warrant being issued following an alleged issue in a New Orleans bar on Tuesday morning.

Cuba Gooding Jr. is not being pursued by police anymore after meeting with officers today.

The 44-year-old Jerry Maguire star had an arrest warrant issued against him yesterday by the New Orleans Police Department.

A complaint was made that the Oscar winner shoved a female bartender in the early hours of Tuesday morning during an altercation.

But the actor’s rep told TMZ that Cuba is working towards resolving the situation.

“There is no warrant,” the spokesperson said. “Mr. Gooding, his representative and the New Orleans authorities met this morning and are moving swiftly to resolve this misunderstanding.”

The bartender had apparently told authorities that Cuba became irate when several bar patrons started to take his picture and he was asked to leave when he became angry.
