Jessica Simpson enlists family on weight journey

Jessica Simpson’s recent birthday bash was apparently her “final pig out session” before she seriously focuses on weight loss.

Jessica Simpson has her family and friends on board as she pushes through on her weight loss journey.

The fashion mogul welcomed daughter Maxwell on May 1 and signed on to be a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers.

And RadarOnline reports that the 31-year-old realises she needs help in shifting the 70 pounds and has called in reinforcement.

“Jessica’s mom Tina Simpson is doing Weight Watchers, her assistant is doing it, people that work for her fashion company are doing it, Jess has enlisted everyone around her to try and lose weight,” a friend told the site.

Since signing on to the famous slim-down company, the new mother has apparently had some setbacks.

“Jessica birthday party was the final pig out session for her,” the insider shared. “All of the fried and unhealthy food was eaten by Jess for the last time. She is so serious now about losing the weight by eating healthy.”

The blonde beauty is apparently focusing on losing at a healthy rate of one pound a week and is working with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak. © Cover Media
