Jessica Biel "screamed in delight" when watching Kate Beckinsale's fight scenes in Total Recall.

The Hollywood beauty portrays Melina in director Len Wiseman’s upcoming reboot of the 1980s sci-fi classic. Jessica and co-stars Kate and Colin Farrell fought frequently in action sequences throughout the film, and Jessica has revealed the high octane scene that impressed her the most.

"My favourite fight in the whole thing is Kate and Colin right when he realises who she is," she told MTV of the storyline. "That sequence, literally, when I saw it for the first time, I screamed in delight with this one move that she does. It's so good."

Jessica has praised the film's unique approach to keeping grounded, while still routed in the sci-fi genre. The actress says there are less futuristic elements in the movie which makes for a dramatic watch.

"It's just fresh. I feel that the action sequences are fresh. The choreography is cool, but no one is flying," she said.

"I sometimes have a hard time connecting to people flying around. There's a place for that, like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Cool. That's not going to work for this movie. I liked that it had a really gritty, attached-to-the-earth feel." © Cover Media
