Michelle Williams has opened up about her character Glinda in the upcoming movie Oz: The Great and Powerful.

Mila Kunis has refused to confirm or deny rumours she will sport green skin in her new movie.

The actress plays evil witch Theodora in Oz: The Great and Powerful, which is a prequel to the classic story The Wizard of Oz. In the upcoming release’s trailer it is teased that Mila’s transformation into the character includes ‘going green’.

"No one said it was my shade of skin," Mila said coyly when interviewed by MTV.com. "It was just a shade, maybe of a green tone, not particularly on me. We don't know these things yet."

While Mila will be playing the evil character, the two good witches are portrayed by Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams. At the Comic-Con 2012 event, Michelle revealed more about her character Glinda.

"Our story pre-figures The Wizard of Oz - that's who my character turns into,” she explained. “That's her in her most crystallised, perfect, form. I thought it was an opportunity to see who she might have been when she was younger, when she was at the precipice of her powers and wasn't fully realised into the Glinda that we know and love from the classic film." © Cover Media
