Rock of Ages

Adapted from the hit stage production of the same name, an aspiring rocker from South Detroit, and Sherrie,

A hopeful actress from a small town both arrive in Los Angeles in 1987 to chase their dreams of making it big. The two wind up meeting at The Bourbon Room, a Hollywood music club where he gets a job as a waiter and she's hired as a waitress and they immediately fall in love. However, their path to true romance is soon obstructed by the seedy nature of the 80's LA hair-rock scene and they find that if they want to be together they'll first have to safely negotiate the difficult world of drugs, mullets, and stripping. Rating: 4 Stars
